Saturday Morning Confession

Blurry blissful shrine
troubled eyes dine
drinking
drowning
in the warm tones
of my skin
flawless in
20/40
vision

Mirrored new growth
the green screen
broke through
colored my glasses
less holds more
behind a cedar framed door

Fighting against my meek glory
vapor in the sunbeams
that invisible heat
above a fire

May my soul
not be defaced
in the wake of my mistakes

My head is bigger than my heart
abstract interstellar reflection
limerence is better than possession
dishes in the sink
Saturday morning confession
