My Daydream

The sunshine

and soft breeze

gracing my chest

feel so true

How long it has been

since I’ve made the acquaintance

of these nature friends

their appearing

is my wish, my gift,

my daydream.

This is my daydream:

the two women next to me

singing Hakuna Matata

with such a lightness and purity

coaxing me

deeper into the moment

further into reality

it tastes like eternity.

A fortifying juncture

this moment

where light shines

on the forbidden places

both within

and without.

There is no hiding

in a place like this

in Glory.
