Let’s just start with one BIG exhale and an “Oh Lord Jesus!” haha. I enjoy Christ as the ultimate reality. Somewhere in the book of Romans it says, “for from Him and to Him and through Him are all things.” I have really experienced Jesus in this way recently. He is more. He is not only more than the physical things of this life, but He is more than life itself. He is the kind of real that, when you touch Him, you a transformed in an eternal way. Hear these words that come from my spirit, discern them in yours. Call upon the name of the Lord Jesus and receive Him as your riches.
In this time, my Father has revealed many things to me. He has given me such a sweet gift, a gift that I wasn’t ready to receive and couldn’t appreciate until now. The Lord has shown me the reality of praise. What a treasure. Before, I did not know how to connect to the Lord in such a sweet way. Now, because of His great mercy, He has made me able to enjoy Him in the power of praising Him. I find it difficult to explain, so I will attempt to explain my experience with an analogy or something (insert googely eyes emoji).
Ok so get this: you get AirPods and you’re like, “oh these are awesome!” Then however many months of enjoying your dope AirPods, you find out that you can do MORE with them than just listen to music. You can program them so when you double tap them it activates Siri, or skips a song, or plays/ pauses. You can also connect to any bluetooth device, which is awesome. Anywho… now you love your AirPods even more and can enjoy them to a greater extent. This is a parallel to my experience. I was enjoying the Lord in my spirit, and the Lord had mercy to show me there are more ways to enjoy Him than I had been enjoying. He is in all parts of my experience. He is the one who gives the revelation, He is the one in me who discerns it, He is the one who enables me to enjoy Him as my reality, and He is the one who moves in my spirit to share my experience with His body, the Church.
Earlier in my walk with Christ, I wouldn’t have been able to really appreciate and enjoy the riches of praising God because I tended to treasure my soul life instead of God as my life. He has shown mercy to me! He is faithful to draw us out of ourselves, and into His consuming and supplying Spirit! Oh Lord, consume me even more. Thank you Lord for being wisdom itself. I praise you Father, for who You are. I love you. You really cannot be praised enough! Oh Lord Jesus I just praise You!!!!!!
If You have not called on the Jesus to be your Lord and Savior, I would love to lead you in prayer so that you also may have the life of God within you and be a member in the very body of Christ, which is the Church!
Come to the Lord with an open and honest heart and pray this prayer:
“Lord Jesus, I am a sinner. I need You. Thank You for dying for me. Lord Jesus, forgive me. Cleanse me from all my sins. I believe You rose from the dead. I receive You right now as my Savior and life. Come into me! Fill me with Your life! Lord Jesus, I give myself to You for Your purpose.”
